Hello and thanks for taking the time to join us and learn some more about & who began our 501c3 non-profit Bee Thru Life and our intentions. What started out as a lifelong curiosity about Honey bees then beekeeping as a backyard hobby has turned into a passion project.  There is no better time than NOW  to help bring more awareness to honey bees and pollinators, their importance and conservation.  We believe that our youth is our future and we hope to share education they will embrace and continue to learn and share themselves.  Our organization was founded in 2024 by Anna McMullen who has a dream to share her passion for honey bees and pollinators with kids and adults alike. Anna started her own beekeeping educational journey in 2019 educating herself at the local library, found a mentor and immediately dove in with her first two hives and formed an immediate connection with the bees.  With the support of her family, friends, fellow beekeepers, and community what was once a dream has become a reality.  With the main goal of spreading more awareness about Honey bees and pollinators combining with a life long passion to work with the youth who hopefully will continue this mission for protection, awareness and conservation of honey bees and all pollinators. 

We are excited to extend the honey bee education and hands-on learning at our Bee Thru Life Visitable Apiary in Farmington NM. We are establishing a visitable and educational apiary where class field trips, homeschool groups, individuals, families or whoever is interested in learning more can be hands-on!  With the chance to suit up and gear up to learn hands on there will also be the presence of pollinator friendly fruit, vegetable, herb and flower gardens.  These freshly grown flowers, vegetables and fruits will not only feed all pollinators,they will also help to continue the gardens  in the future and share them with students.  In offering hands-on in hive experiences we hope to be able to continue education and enable interested youth the opportunity to continue the Bee Thru Life mission. We have a goal of setting up scholarship funds for local area youth to be able to receive the continued education as well as the ability to purchase the equipment necessary for them to maintain their own honey bees and beehives as well as additional materials necessary to sustain healthy bees and hives. With being able to share education through hands-on and mentor experience and the materials to continue their own beekeeping journey we hope for the continuation of Honey bee awareness, education and conservation.
